Read metrics consistently
- Conversion rate = qualified conversions ÷ tracked clicks.
- Earnings per click = approved commission ÷ tracked clicks.
- Return after traffic costs = approved commission − traffic cost.
- With no clicks, these rates are undefined. Use the same definitions and period.
Segment carefully
Keep a baseline and change one variable at a time. A small sample can have a high rate due to one event. Recent cohorts may not yet have mature eligible revenue. Do not interpret a platform-wide average as your own result.
