Check your receiver
A synthetic request can exercise parsing, authentication failures, duplicates, and matching. Label synthetic identifiers clearly. Then coordinate an approved delivery check with the partner team and compare the expected event with the received record.
Record an approved check
- Document the agreed environment and event.
- Record identifier, timestamp, timezone, and expected response.
- Inspect delivery and matching without exposing secrets.
- Keep synthetic data out of live profitability analysis.
