A working destination does not prove attribution. Begin with the public placement and your exact approved link instead of changing several tools together.
Check the link
- Compare the live URL with the issued original.
- Open a clean session; record timestamp and timezone.
- Inspect missing queries, truncation, shorteners, and encoding.
- Confirm the destination and supported parameters.
Understand the records
Analytics clicks may include repeat visits or bots and use a different timezone. Ask how a test click can be checked using available reporting. Confirm when the relevant records should be available before comparing results.
Attribution is last-click with a 30-day cookie window, locked at the referred user's first email login or registration associated with the referral link.
Isolate the issue
- Compare the approved original with the actual placement.
- Try another browser to isolate an extension.
- Do not invent parameters to force tracking.
- Do not create self-referral orders or fake customer activity.
Prepare evidence
Send Partner Support the placement, link version, timestamp, timezone, expected and actual destination, and report period. Remove personal data. Explain the smallest reproduction and which checks passed.
